Achievements of KVK

Krishi Vigyan Kendra conducted 288 Frontline demonstrations (FLD) on various crops like- Cluster bean (HG-2-20), Mustard (RGN-13, RGN-298 & RGN-229), Moong (IPM-02-3 & Satya), Gram (GNG-1581), Wheat (Raj. 4037), Barley (RD-2035), Oat (Kent) & Lucerne (Anmol) and 100 other enterprises like- Cow buffalo, goats and fish productivity improvement etc.

To 8 on Farm Trails (OFT) have also been conducted on Nematode management, Effect of sulphur levels, Aphid management performance etc.

In respect with trainings Krishi Vigyan Kendra trained total number of 1745 farmers, farm women and rural youth under on- campus, off-campus and sponsored training and programmes during 2012 to 2015 by conducting 68 farmers & farm women trainings and 8 trainings for rural youth under on-campus and off-campus trainings programmes.

In all Krishi Vigyan Kendra organized 76 Trainings programmes, 8 On farm Trail, 388 Frontline demonstrations, 15 field days, 14 kisan gosthies, 18 Animal campus, 235 Scientists visits to farmer fields, 575 Farmer visits to KVK, 03 Exhibition, 215 Lectures delivered as resource persons, 62 News paper coverage, 500 Telephone help line, 01 farmers tour, 07 Leaflets & folders and 15 popular articles published, 01 special day (Congress grass unnamulan divas) and 01 Technology Week (Livestock Week Awareness Programme) and these activities many farmers as beneficiaries.
